Timely! The best meme I've seen for this was "Why are kids eating the pods when there's cotton candy in the walls?" The early favorite for the Darwin Awards Group Award.
Maybe it's an anti-Trump statement from the younguns? I mean, it's laundry pods, and if the kids survive them melting in their GI-tracts they'll all end up with VERY clean sh*tholes...

Why don't they lie down on the center line of the highway instead? There were warnings about these laundry detergent pods before when little children mistook them for candy with hazardous results. But kids who should know better are eating them on purpose. There is nothing so stupid that someone won't do it on youtube. Look for "Bottle Rocket Buttcrack".

One of the most classic TV commercials recently features this very topic: a mother sees here toddler handling some Tide Pods (TM) and quickly takes it away from the child. That mom obviously cares for her children. Too many people take foolish risks, thinking, perhaps, "nothing's gonna happen to me"--but, sadly, something does happen. Don't risk your life or health--leave the Tide or any other detergent for the wash!
