The Lyrics

Came to a place that had a sign with no name
Went into the place and asked him the name
He said bowling b-b-b-bowling
there was a guy that was next to my lane he asked me the name and in a quiet voice I said bowling b-b-b-bowling b-b-b-bowling b-b-b-bowling now
I bowled a strike for my first score and I’ve never ever bowled a good game before so I went up to ask for a job
He said that I can do it but you may have to mop
Now I’m not the kind that would argue with him so it looks like I’m gonna meet a guy named Jim and his bowling
so I cleaned the place I had some disgrace
I lifted some balls while I worked on the lanes
But I won’t forget what Jim had said
He said Brian stay clear of the kids while they bowl
Because if you get hit then you’ll go down the isle as they’re
bowling b-b-b-bowling
I know you really want to work at the bar but remember if you want a drink to say who you are as your bowling b-b-b-bowling
Well I heard I had to clean a really big mess from that party with some girl named Tess while I know that I’ll be getting done real soon they said that if I hurry I’ll be done by noon
Well the long term contract I had to sign said that I’ll be cleaning these parties till the end of time or when I’m bowling
