The Lyrics

I don't ENTIRELY agree with the lyrics of Can't Repeat, and I don't entirely agree with the lyrics of this thing I've written. I guess there's some sort of twisted relation there. Er-hem, anyway, TV-repeats are fine, just don't watch them when you're not feeling like it. I invite others to write parodies about TV-repeats to this song "Can't Repeat." Show me how it's done. I think I'm onto something.
I watched the other day
and saw nothing has changed
half past six, oh, it's The Pretender that is airing
I can no longer watch La Femme (whoa-hoa)
Nikita, cos that's been done (whoa-hoa)
and I'm just wishing it would stop

shows go on
for always
can't be good for the brain
can't see more
yes, today's schedule makes me cry

Suddenly Su's very sweet
but not these dang repeats
ol' days are gone, Brooke Shields is never coming back
Jerry, just move your head (whoa-hoa)
Seinfeld is gone and dead (whoa-hoa)
we're all just wishing it would stop, but

we've all enjoyed A-Team
Van Dyke's detective years
the eighties left us and the nineties slipped away
can't imagine good reruns
except The Simpsons' fun
today that's crap and it should stop

can't see more
