| Parody Song Title: | "George Harrison Was The Greatest And Best Artist In The World" |
| Parody Written by: | Harri Georgeson |
my version as a tribute to GH. The D might like it if he ever reads it
George Harrison is the greatest and best artist in the world.....tribute
Long time ago Harri and his brother Macca were young scousers ambitions to make it to the top
All of the sudden there appeared a greasy haired teddy boy in the middle of the road
And He Said...
"You wanna join me band? it wont cost your soul"
well harri and macca they looked at eachother
and they each said "OK"
So they played the Cavern, rocked and shook their heads
and it just so happened to be
they were the best band in the world, they were the best band in the world
no matter how hard you see, see, see
number 1's they had 2 and another made 3,
it was des-ti-ny
a band like this come every hundred-thousand years or so,
i'll follow the sun and Mr Moonlight which glows
and the grass they smoked.
Needless to say Harri was neglected
whip-crack went his songwriting talents,
Here Comes The Sun
Ravi Shankar asked him: "Be you spiritual?"
and harri said, "Nay!" "I am but Krishna"
Rock!
Hare-Hare Hare-Hare Krishna
Hare-Hare Krishna, Hare-Hare Krishna
This is just a tribute, you gotta believe me
Harri was the best man, just a matter of opinion........

Good tribute Harri. I don't know the song but like the lyrics. George was one of the greats. But just a note on historical accuracy coming from a Beatles expert: Paul joined John's band first, then introduced George a while later. And of course they was a 4 year gap between them getting together and playing the Cavern. Otherwise good tribute.
