Parody Song Title:

"Lost Our Sets"

Parody Written by:

Elentári

Hey guys! I wrote this one especially for anyone who is in a marching band ...band geeks rule!! lol
Stumbling, the ground is wet
and all the piccolos have passed him by...
Hoping that the music judge
ignores the trumpets and their notes so high...

We were meant to get a higher score,
but we lost our sets...
we left them inside,
they're somewhere inside,
We were meant to beat their ninety-four,
but we lost our sets,
we left them inside...

Dreaming about clarinets,
and whether band geeks ever have real lives...
Saxes are marching with their eyes half open,
their reeds are bent and broken...

We were meant to beat our highest score,
but we lost our sets...
we left them inside,
they're somewhere inside,
We were meant to live for so much more,
have we lost our minds?
Our brains must be fried...

We want more than this field's got to offer...
We want more than this field's got to offer...
We want more than five seconds to get water...
We want to go inside, he screams,"Just five more times!"

We were meant to get a higher score,
but we lost our sets,
We were meant to get a higher score,
but we lost our sets,
We were meant to live for so much more,
this all makes no sense,
We were meant to live...
We were meant to live...

I am not a band geek, but back in High School, I knew practically the entire band. I still talk to most of them too, so I know what you were actually singing about in this parody! Good job!
