The Lyrics

Parody of P.O.D.'s "Without Jah, Nothin'" about the blues of file sharing.
1, 2, 3, 4,
With Kazaa people share with others,
With Kazaa it is all free,
Up-load for nothing, oh nothing,
Who thought it was so, who thought it was so,
So, easy and cheap, easy and cheap, so, so, free,
Well at least I get something with Kazaa, something with Kazaa,
Popularity but it ain't money money!!!

With Kazaa--nothin' nothin',
With Kazaa, nothin' nothin!
(No money for poor singers)
With anything just clicks away,
With everything for nothin' oh NO NO NO NO!!!
Without Kazaa--money, respect,
With Kazaa--oh no, nothin' nothin',
With Kazaa--nothin' nothin'
With Ka-zaa--nothin' nothin'!
(I wrote this song, not "Weird Al" Yankovic)

I used to live where I got money for everything,
But then Napster shed some light on free di-gi-tal downloads!
And now we get nothing to show for our work,
(And now)
Kazaa members are rocking,
(They're dancin' to)
With no money, nothing,
(My song)
I'm not goin' to have money,
(I'm gonna sue)
For another few CDs,
(The whole world)
With Kazaa I get nothing,
(The-the-the-the-the whole world)
Now there's no money,
(Whole world)
People get nice things,
Regular people,
(Of gals and gents)
Really like music,
But we still don't break equal,
(Payin' a cent)
Oh! The net,
(The whole world)
People have money,
(The-the-the-the-the whole world)
Just give me a bit,
(Whole world)
With Kazaa, nothing,

I wanna know what happened to getting money and credit for what we sing,
Everyone knows that it isn't free so if they want another CD they'll have to give us money,

People like downloads,
(Are downloading)
For free, free, free, free,
(For free)
Half an hour
(They hear me sing)
They all hear me,
(The whole world)
I used to like it, all right,
(The-the-the-the-the whole world)
(Whole world)
Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing,
(And I)
It's like a big hook,
(Keep trippin' on)
Targeting people the internet,
(The bills)
With Kazaa, nothing,
(And vagabonds)
With Kazaa life is tough,
(The whole world)
M-O-N-E-Y for my health and dentistry,
(The-the-the-the-the whole world)
And stuff and stuff and stuff,
(Whole world)
I live for my music, you see,

With Kazaa, nothing,
Bla bla bla, no,
With Kazaa, nothing,
And without Kazaa...yeah...
Oh, wanna-na-na-na-na-na-na!

(And I)
I look at my CD,
(I see my song)
I even marked,
((On) Kazaa)
"2 for 1",
(It's marked all wrong)
"Or free",
(Artist: Weird Al)
I'm lookin' on Kazaa and wow!
(Wo-wo-wo-wo-wo Weird Al)
I wrote- I wrote- I wrote the song,
(Weird Al)
(Sold one)
I have-a have-a have-a have-a some skills,
(Of my CDs)
But now people won't know who really thrills,
(And now)
I get no credit,
(Thousands enjoying me)
No! I get no credit!
(The whole world)
(The-the-the-the-the whole world)
(Whole world)

Weird Al din't write this,
Adam Sandler didn't either,
Da Yoopers didn't come close,
(Whole world, third world, whole world)

Good parody, though a little inaccurate. P2P programs like KaZaA don't take money away from the artists, but rather the record labels. The artists get most of their income from touring and merchandise, not album sales.

OMG! "Without Jah, Nothin'" is one of my favorite songs and like all of your parodies, this is so funny! Please put your SoundClick back up so I can hear this baby for myself. I also love "Weatherman's Ambition" - so funny!
