The Lyrics

I'm through with driving in cars
That I can run faster than
It's like the very last lap
And I'm never gonna win
Daytona hasn’t turned out
Quite the way I want it to be

(Tell me what you want)

I want some brand new tires
When I go into the pits
And an infield I can drive my car in
And a king size gas tank that holds
4 cans of gasoline

(So what you need?)

I'll need a gas peddle that's got no limit
And a big black car with an AC in it
Gonna race a half mile
At the great Bristol Motor Speedway

(Been there, done that)

I want a new Mack truck with my car and my name
My own spot on Nascar’s Hall of Fame
Somewhere between The King and
Earnhardt is fine for me

(So how you gonna do it?)

I'm gonna trade this time for one faster lap
I'd even fill on fuel and lose my gas cap

[Chorus:]
'Cause we all just wanna drive for Nascar
And live in garages driving that one car
The gas comes easy and the parts come cheap
We'll all stay racing 'cause we have those
And we'll hang out in the coolest bars
In the motor home with the fastest cars
Every big drunk retard’s
Gonna wind up there
Every Redneck race fan
With his thick body hair

Hey hey I wanna drive for Nascar
Hey hey I wanna drive for Nascar

I wanna be great like Earnhardt without the mustache
Hire eight pit crew members that love to change my tires
Sign a couple autographs
So I can get my wheels for free
(I'll have the Gooda-Yeara, uh huh)
I'm gonna dress my ass
With the best protection
Get a front door key to some racing mansion
Gonna date a Redneck lady that loves to
Blow my money for me
(So how you gonna do it?)
I'm gonna trade this time for one faster lap
I'd even fill on fuel and lose my gas cap

[Chorus]

And we'll hide out in the private rooms
With the latest racing records and today we zoom-zoom
They'll get you anything with that evil smile
Everybody's got a part dealer on speed dial

Hey hey I wanna drive for NASCAR

I'm gonna drive those cars
That offend the coppas
Gonna get my fuel from a man who’s my fan
I'll get washed-up drivers fixing all my cars
Test drive em every night so I don't race 'em wrong

[Chorus]

And we'll hide out in the drivers’ room
With the latest racing records and today we zoom-zoom
They'll get you anything from that junkyard pile
Everybody's got a part dealer on speed dial

Hey hey I wanna drive for NASCAR
Hey hey I wanna drive for NASCAR

By the way, in the chorus when it says : We'll all stay racing cause we have those" it's supposed to say dreams at the end.
