On March 8, US Senate majority leader Harry Reid defended funding for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and Humanities (NEH), because they support the annual National Cowboy Poetry Gathering at the Western Folklife Center (WFC) in Elko NV. But the NEA & NEH provide only a tiny fraction of the WFC's budget; most comes from ticket sales, private donors and business sponsors. CHFUDNKTOS.

I'll wear new spurs and lope with pride.
I want to stride to that stage in the desert,
In best poets' state reside.

Put their sonnets to the test.

BJM - Yee-Haw! A pupil of "Yodel" you now are I see! Harry has some interesting ideas. Some of the hundred billions in Obama stimulus money was earnmarked to build the Gangster Museum in Las Vegas. Perhaps D.C. would be a more appropriate location. Fine job as usual. ;D
