How many of you remember Lars Ulrich testifying before a Committee regarding folks downloading Metallica music? Yea, he taught those Napster users a lesson by having them banned...it worked for about fifteen minutes. If the band had been smarter, they would have followed the production trail and see where most of the money went. It was the record execs ripping you off. Lars; the users knew this even if you didn't. CD prices jumped to as much as four times the cost versus an LP Record and in a lot of cases, the quality didn't improve by much and you no longer had the option of buying only on song. Anyways, the adverse publicity given to Napster was still publicity and even though Napster caved, torrents are still going strong. I watched the video for Metallica's cover of this song and all that they did in the video was trash a house. I was thinking...What exactly is he point here? Parody based on The Dubliners version of song.
