Story about this misheard lyric by: Jim Jaworski When I was 5 (in 1971) there our mom kept the broom in the kitchen near the table and I remember one of the kitchen chairs was like a bench. I would ride in the car with my Dad to the grocery store and used to hear this song on the way there...that's how I got to associate the Misheard Lyrics. This incidentally is the VERY FIRST pop song I can remember hearing in my life. |
