Band Name Origins:

According to Poison Ivy Rorscharch (a.k.a., Kristy Wallace), the guitarist/songwriter/producer of The Cramps, the term, "cramps," is a dual-meaning: not only is it a reference to feminine cramps (you know--that "time of the month"), but is also slang for "erection."
