Band Name Origins:
- The opposite of what 'oldschool' said, the band's original manager was eating Moo Goo Gai Pan in a Bronx Chinese restaurant and thought of the latter part as short for the dish. The 'Blues' part was for their love for R&B. Submitted by: Brenda
- The "Magoo" part came from the time the band members went to a Chinese restaurant, and were inspired by the name "moo goo gai pan." The "Blues" part is self-explanatory, but it was originally spelled "Bloos." Submitted by: Rufus
