The Lyrics

In case this isn't obvious, what ya got here is a whole-album parody of Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of the Moon." In case this isn't ALSO obvious, the lyrics for each of the parts are linked from the part numbers. No, this hasn't been recorded yet; if you wanna tackle it, my response is "You're high" - er, I mean, "Go for it."
Part 1 of 6:
Commit Random Sound Effects of Kindness (to "Speak to Me")
Wreath on the Door (to "Breathe In the Air")
On the Rain Gutters, Dummy (to "On the Run")

Part 2 of 6:
Cardiac Time (to "Time")
Dude, Where's My Sleigh? (to "Breathe Reprise")
Crikey! No White Christmas in the Outback, Mate! (to "The Great Gig in the Sky")

Part 3 of 6:
Frosty (to "Money")

Part 4 of 6:
Red and Green (to "Us and Them")
Dmitri, the Gay Reindeer (to "Any Colour You Like")

Part 5 of 6:
Chimney Damage (to "Brain Damage")

Part 6 of 6:
All That and a Bag of Pistachios (to "Eclipse")

Part 7 of 6:
Roles in the Hay (to "The Happiest Days of Our Lives")
A Mother Deckin' the Hall (to "Another Brick in the Wall, Part II")

I see one person didn't like this effort. That would not be me. I look foward to giving my newly re-acquired DSotM CD a listen tonight to enjoy your album.

I give this 5's only because there is no 10 button to hit. Fantastic whole-album credits from here.

I remember it from last year Spaff, and I remember 5-ing it then, so here's 5s for the combined works - 555

OK, I've started reading this and love what I've read thus far (I'm only up to "Frosty").

I haven't read them all yet but what I have read I LIKE. Who are the dimbulbs who would slap this with one's?? I hope they have to work late and miss Christmas altogether! 555

I'm sure Dad has this album somewhere, so I'll try and scrounge it up around Christmas as your titles sound oh-so enticing.

Thanks a bazillion, Ant in Chains & Dee Bugged & Aggro & s2art & Rick the Cornier & xmas carol & Ralphing Luke. Reading a whole-album parody goes way beyond the call of duty, so I'll make sure that Santa brings each of you a little something extra this year. (I mean, I'll ASK him to next time I see him at the mall; whether he follows through or not is totally up to him, not me.) And Red: I see that you commented on each of the parts, and I promise I'll get around to replying. Thanx again.

Patagio: Thanks again for going all the way through that. As an encore, I will parody Roseanne Barr's CD "I Enjoy Being a Girl" in its entirety. I expect that everyone will want to listen along with it repeatedly.

howdoIgetthis: At this point, the only way to "hear" this is to play Dark Side of the Moon while shouting the parody lyrics over the vocals of Waters, Gilmour, and co. Trust me, your neighbors will appreciate it.
