Band Name Origins:

The Mars part of the name comes from bandmates Cedric and Omar's "fascination with space and mythology." The Volta part of the name was taken from a book about Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini who described his films as "volta". From page 28 of April 2003 issue of Q Magazine. Submitted by: krb
