This is the one and only rock and roll epic of burping. Some people think it's hysterical. One or two have been offended, but that was one of the less important purposes of the thing.

Rock 'n roll epic about burping? Did you ever hear Alfred E. Neuman's "It's a Gas" from 1966? :D

Concerning Doug Montgomery's comment about Alfred E. Neuman: Yes, Doug, I know all about Alfred E. Neuman from probably before you were born. Notice that I said Belchmeister is the one and only ROCK AND ROLL epic of burping. "It's a Gas" isn't even remotely rock and roll, Doug, and if you have any doubts or questions about what rock and roll really is, it's this: Rock and roll is sexual energy expressed in sound". It's a Gas is not the slightest bit sexy, but the Belchmeister instrumental track is. Try actually listening to it, Doug.

Peter, I guess I'll just have to take your word for it. I've never heard "Belchmeister." :D I'm 55, and I was a junior in high school when "It's a Gas" came out. Dr. Demento plays it on his show.

I'm 48 and I remember Alfred's It's A Gas and I still have the '66 issue the record came with and the record too!
