First, it was a convention, not conference. There IS a difference. Secondly, a Mariah impersonator was at the convention, and not Mariah herself. Believe it or not, Mariah Carey is still pretty popular (and insanely wealthy), and doesn't need to resort to appearing at third-class events.

Greetings, First I would like to say that I know for a fact it was a lookalike at the convention,because I was the lookalike who did the show. Somehow ,someone somewhere decided to say it was the real deal and it was plastered all over the news and media world. I was hired as a lookalike for a wonderful cause and was mistaken for the real deal, Maybe because it was in Vegas and the stars are often seen there but it was a show to help those who were handicapped and I was proud to help out.
