Well, it's true. Eminem don't lie. We know right off he's an angry crazy-ass white boy with enough issues for a 3-year subscription to Psycho's monthly, and a chip on his shoulder big enough to skateboard on. What you see is what you get. If you don't like it...f*ck you. That's his whole bit. Bush on the other hand......well, look at the track record. His pop: "Read my lips! No new taxes!" In the words of Gallagher, "No wonder he always said read my lips 'cause he was lying out his ass!" And now, his son: "They've got weapons of mass destruction other there...somewhere." The war is over supposedly, yet American troops keep dying. Yes, I believe Eminem is more truthful than Dubya, whose is either hiding the truth, or too stupid to know he's telling lies. Take your pick.

I hope you're not a history major cause you're in trouble. Those responsible for the new taxes that followed on the heels of that statement was the Democratic congress that passed new tax bills just to discredit Bush 1 so they could "steal" that election from the Republicans and the liberal left news networks made sure that it was played for all it was worth. And it remains to be seen if there were or are any WMD in Iraq. Sadam had a hell of a lot of chems before and during Gulf War 1. There is no documentation as to the dispostion of all that weaponary. The Iraqi regime under Saddam were real sticklers for copious documentation and none of this seemed to have been found either. Saddam's had 12 years to cover and hide his stuff. It ain't gonna be found in 12 minutes or 12 weeks. I would give them 12 months. If nothing is found by then I will identify with your sentiments.

Baloney most of the comments supporting the white trash emminem are from losers. And the survey was conducted by a company with a vested interest in tearing up the president and supporting the white trash. Everyone forgets both are in the same boat as they are both pressing a political agenda Bush is obvious white trash hides his.

Mike Hunt - July 26, 2003 - Report this comment
What then do you call a democratic congress manipulating the tax levies and the news media in order to win an election. Where I come from this at best is called cheating, but on a national level such tactics as this amounts to a steal. If you all can stretch what happened in Florida then I can do the same with this. There is no difference. That's just the problem. One side likes to play fair and the other does not. One side is willing to compromise and the other is not. You know who you are.

i think bush is a bull shitter. I'd believe eminem over him any day of the year. I think he sucks as a pres. Em would make a much better one then him. All we heard out of bush so far has been lies, eminem tells it how it is and doesn't go and makeup shit that he 'thinks'.
Michael Pacholek - July 28, 2003 - Report this comment
Jessica, Eminem would make a better President than Bush. But, as that great political scientist Dick Smothers would say, "That was not a compliment." Eminem calls it the way he sees it, which means it's not a lie. But, unlike Bush, he's smart enough to know what the truth is. Mr. Hunt: Except maybe for the Capital Times of Madison, Wisconsin, there is no liberal media. They're all owned by big corporations, and they serve the right wing. That was true in 1992, and it's true in 2003. Let's see, M vs. W... M lives in Detroit, W lives in Crawford, Texas... Eminem lives in a better place. M curses for a living, but he's not trying to impress anybody; W did it in front of an open microphone while he was running for President. Edge, M. M calls himself Slim Shady, W is slim and shady. Edge, M. W thinks his job is to drop bombs, M thinks his job is to drop F-bombs. Edge, W, since that is part of his job, but he does that part too much and neglects others. M makes millions of dollars drilling holes in people's sensitivities, W lost millions of dollars drilling holes in Texas desert, and lost billions of dollars drilling holes in the American economy. Edge, M. W hates liberals, non-Christians and Saddam; M hates everybody except his daughter, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent. Edge, W, slightly. M likes to dress up as Robin, W is robbin' the American people blind. Edge, M, especially since it's the 1990s revamped Robin, not the 1960s TV-show-tights-wearin' Robin. M's daughter doesn't drink, W's daughters do... Edge, M. M roots for the Detroit Tigers, W for the Texas Rangers... The Tigers have won four World Series, so no matter how bad they are now, edge, M. M's mom does more dope than he does, W's mom thinks God wanted her son to be President... Edge, Mrs. Mathers. W's hair has gone awfully gray in just two years, M's hair is the same dopey blond crewcut it's been since we've known him... Edge, W, since Presidents are supposed to age in office. M hangs around with 50 Cent, former cocaine dealer... Tie. M has never been rightfully elected President, and never will be... That's a tie. Maybe we can use M's slogan for W in '04: Lose yourself!
Syncronos - July 28, 2003 - Report this comment
My my my...what a debate we have going here. Bush versus Mathers. Political issues aren't my strong suit. Sure, I have my opinion on political issues, but seeing as I'm not as political minded as most (Mike Hunt, Bill Tong, etc), I wouldn't measure up in a full out political debate. I'm more of a conspiracy theorist, but that's besides the point. But the issue here isn't purely political, it also involves character. The statement was made that people believe Eminem's raps more than Bush's speeches. Well, again, the evidence is clear. While Marshall Mathers may not say the best things, what he says is true. He loves his daughter, but hates his ex-wife. He makes no apology for his angry lyrics, nor does he try to conform to the masses. That's why he causes such commotion. Everybody hates him, and he doesn't care. He's not here to please the masses. He says what he feels, and puts it on a plate. If you don't like it, go listen to something els. THAT is the truth about Eminem. Dubya is a little different. Not to say that he lies...but come now. Let's look at the facts. Bush is up for re-election in 2004, so he needs to dress up his last four years as best he can, especially this whole conflict. War isn't pretty folks. People die. People get maimed. But what have we seen? Dead Iraqis by the score. And US casualties? 'Friendly fire.' I have trouble believing that the most powerful military force on the planet with the best trained soldiers and the best weapons are blowing themselves up. But, the media says it's what's happening, so it must be true, right? Also, everyone's happy about Jessica Lynch going home to West Virginia and eating fried chicken. But what of the other POWs that were rescued and released? Where's their big news story? Could it be that Bush is putting his best assets forward? Not to down the rescue of Jessica Lynch by any means, but come now. You won't here about all the other things happening over there because that's not what he wants you to hear. "Never mind Osama Bin Laden, the supposed mastermind behind 9/11. We'll find him later. Never mind the fact that I haven't found the WMDs that I swore up and down were over there. We'll find those later too." If you listen too long to that, you might turn against him and go shopping for another President next year. He can't have that, no no no. So, what will he do? He's going to take all his best things, his little victories, his tiny triumphs, lump them together, and then use the media to inflate them to gigantic proportions so that no one will be able to see anything else. You'll see him shaking hands with rescue workers in the rubble of the twin towers. You'll see him on TV touting Saddam's fallen statue. You'll see him posing for pictures with Lynch on the trail next year, I gaurantee it. Putting his best foot forward? Perhaps. Truthfully, he's not really lying, but you'll have to agree, this is a drastic contrast from Eminem's 'what you see is what you get, so f*ck you if you don't like it' attitude.

Wow, you threw us everything but the kitchen, Sync! And you're right, of course... Even though using "every little victory" as a major turning point in history was also done by my man Bill for eight years, except he got around to doing some truly great things. But imagine if all this had happened four years earlier... The WTC destruction, the Iraqi war, not knowing where Saddam and Osama are, allowing that brave little Southern girl Jessica Lynch to get in harm's way, and using fraudulent British intelligence as a lie to get into a war... By this point in his term, Clinton would be saying, "The Senate has spoken, I have been acquitted of the impeachment charges, and now I'm going back to work for the American people." But because there's GOP control of Congress, there will be no groundwork for impeachment, so Bush has to be beaten (again) in order to be properly punished. And, of course, both father and son Bush cozied up to the Saudis far more than Clinton did to the Chinese in a right-winger's wildest dream, and who killed more Americans? (Since the end of the Korean War, anyway.) As President Eisenhower once said, the chickens are now coming home to roost, and Georgie lives in the chicken house. Maybe Georgie oughta start paraphrasing Eminem: "Bill Clinton didn't have to lie about war and the economy to get re-elected, but I do, so (screw) him, and (screw) you too!"

Michael, when would you say the Korean War ended? No matter when you say, according to the abortionfacts.com site, the sad statistics are that we, as Americans, killed more Americans (not any President)....by abortion.' During the 1980s and 1990s total abortions stayed about 1,550,000 annually, slowly decreasing in the 1990s'. Add it up. and according to Guttmacher surveys, not all states or abortions were reported. Actually, the number of abortions far outweighs the number of casualties in all the wars put together.

Oh...here we go with the abortion thing again. We could bat that around until George Bush releases his honeymoon video to rival Pamela and Tommy Lee's. Well, consider this: everyone is Pro-choice. Even the Pro-Lifers. What's their slogan? CHOOSE life. Whatever you choose, you still have made a choice. But how did we get to abortion from Eminem for President? In fact, I think the Pro-Lifers are one of the few groups he HASN'T pissed off yet.

Em's alright with me because he's the only superstar rapper who can actually rap. But Eminem as president? Nuh-uh. Not happening. Besides being able to rap fast, he's not good for much else. He'd probably introduce legislation to legalize certain dangerous drugs putting more youth in danger because, hey, Em signed the bill! He'd have to run as Marshall Mathers III, so that might hold him off. Good, because a Mathers administration would most likely turn this country into an anarchic mess. Mike P., do you call bombing the hell out of innocent Serbs in a civil war we shouldn't have been involved in a "truly great thing?" Do you call banging an intern in the same place people like Lincoln worked a "truly great thing?" And did you forget the rest of the armed forces when you played the gender card against Bush putting Jessica "PR" Lynch in "harm's way?" Many people died protecting their country and another; Lynch got REALLY lucky, therefore that constitutes heroism according to CNN and More Snotty Nonsense By Creeps. Bullshit, it just makes for good ratings, and I'm glad the girl's kept her mouth shut for now. Do you really think a trailer park in Detroit's better than a ranch in Texas? That poll never really elaborated on what kinds of Americans where asked, the article quoted an LA radio station, and the poller had the word "Euro" in it, so I don't think that poll was very fair.
Michael Pacholek - August 03, 2003 - Report this comment
Oh boy, a good workout coming to me. Alex, Slobodan Milosevic killed more people every year he was in power than Saddam Hussein killed in 25 years, but the Republicans didn't want to go after him because there was no oil in "Yugoslavia." Clinton beat the bastard without losing a single U.S. life, and without gaining much Republican support for their Commander-in-Chief -- a rightfully-elected one -- and THAT was "a great thing" from which Georgie could have learned, but chose not to. The Serbs were "innocent"? Just as much as the Iraqis. Lincoln never worked in the Oval Office -- it wasn't built until Theodore Roosevelt was President. Lincoln never slept in the Lincoln Bedroom, either, and "selling" it goes back at least as far as Nixon. And yes, the worst slum in Detroit is better than any place in Texas, because Detroit didn't vote for Bush. Automatic. Not that I believe Eminem has ever registered to vote. "Vote" is a four-letter word I don't think he uses. And I would love to see the GOP reaction should Jessica Lynch ever run for office as a Democrat. I do, however, appreciate your swipe at MSNBC, whose sloppiness and hypocrisy make Fox look almost reputable.

OK, seriously...it's clear that Bush is trying to gather favor with Americans so they'll vote him in next year. It's been said that life is not what happens to you, but how you react to it. 9/11 was a historical attack. And Bush knew that if he didn't react- and QUICKLY- to it, people would think he was a wuss. Only problem is...we can't find Osama. We bomb Afghanistan, blow stuff up- but bin Laden isn't in any of the craters. Ooh...that's bad for business. So, he thinks...let's go pick a fight with Saddam. Hey, nobody likes him anyway, and I'm sure if I work it right with the media, we can link him somehow with the 9/11 attack. Plus, I know RIGHT were he is- my dad drew me a map! So, they go over there. Battle plans are drawn, war heroes are made, Saddam takes costly casualties at the loss of his sons and military advisors. Oh yeah...Saddam is supposed to have weapons of mass destruction or something...we'll figure that out later. The problem is this: Bush is so gung-ho about going over seas to fight, he's left the homeland wide open. Sure, you have to take your shoes off to get on a plane now. But has anyone noticed how easy it is to get into a school? A hospital? A bank? Have we forgotten the lesson the McVeigh bombing taught us? We're dealing with terrorists, after all. So wouldn't anything and everything having to do with our way of life be a target? But has Bush beefed up security here? No. He's fighting this war completely oblivious to the fact that the rules have changed. WW1, WW2, Vietnam, the Gulf have all been fought OVER THERE. 9/11 brought the war to American soil for the first time ever. I just pray for our sake that our enemies don't catch on to how vulnerable we are.

Seriously guys, at least Bush didnt threaten to kill his mother! And so what if Emenem doesn't lie, neither does, or did, Bush, it was an accusation made by Liberals simply because it was the only possible way to make fun of him. You gotta realize how low Liberals will go just to make the left side look good. But you wanna know someone who we all know lied, that would be Clinton, and he DID lie, UNDER OATH, and last time I checked, that was a fellony! Muzakman: 1. Bush is every bit as hypocritical as Eminem and then some. 2. Eminem raps about killing people, Bush actually does it. 3. OK, can't differ with you on that one. Mikey F: Bush has lied from the moment he said "I will restore honor and integrity to the White House." He can't even restore honor and integrity to HIS OWN house, or didn't you notice his drunken daughters? The ONLY possible way to make fun of him? Clearly, you haven't read my material on this site: Lies, stupidity, corruption, stolen election, bad baseball-team owner, faux Texas stuff, belligerence, cowardice, substance abuse, and that's just what I can think of at the moment. As for Clinton, the facts of his Administration are that he was found NOT GUILTY BY MAJORITY VOTE. The Repubs HELD the majority, but couldn't GET a majority to say he committed a crime, let alone a felony, and learn to spell. Bush lied about his reasons for going to war, AND about the effects his rich man's tax cut would have on the economy. But he'll never be impeached because the GOP controls the Congress, so we have to beat him in the election. Again. You're welcome.

They are thinking, "As long as we can keep the focus off all the dead men and women, and all the lies that the chimp has told, we can hope to keep the "Nascar Dads" attention elsewhere and get them to vote for us"... It is all bullshit. The uptight righties are shaken because they know that the liberal lefties are starting to grow, and they are starting to convince even some neocons that the US was lied to. The card house that was built by the Shrub misadministration is starting to collapse. Soon order will be restored to the world and the chimp will be out of a job.

Where as Em's Toy Soldiers and Mosh clearly show his hate for Pointless killing, the war, and Bush's policies. Rock on Em for saying what we all think in a voice everyone can hear.
