Long before the PMRC, music has been underfire for one reason or another. After the PMRC however,
warning labels became far more prelevant with the black and white 'Explicit Lyrics' tag. We're looking
to list all the albums with warnings EXCEPT for the explicit lyrics label (too many to list).
Entries Beginning with M
Some copies of the album have a warning sticker that reads "The only track you probably won't want to play is "Damage, Inc" due to multiple use of the infamous "F" word. Otherwise, there aren't any "s***s", "f***s", "p***es", "c***s", "motherf***ers", or "c***suckers" anywhere on this record." Absolutely classic.
"Mechanical Resonance," Tesla
On the back cover of the CD version - it says "The music on this compact digital disc was originally recorded on analog equipment. We have attempted to perserve, as closely as possible, the sound of the original recording. Because of it's high resolution, however, the compact disc can reveal limitations of the source tape."
On some LP pressings, the front cover bore the words "Made in a castle with better equipment."
The cover says "Attention: This Carton Contains (1) Alice Cooper Muscle of Love" and also says "Fragile".
