Misheard Lyrics:
A Pop-A-Matic is the one I want.
Original Lyrics:
I'm not the man they think I am at home.
I was six years old when I misheard this lyric on WRKO 680 AM in Boston. When I compared notes with my friends at recess Monday morning, there was unanimous agreement that Elton must be talking about the newly introduced Pop-A-Matic. I suspect that the phrase, "I'm not the man they think I am at home." would have meant nothing to a bunch of six year old kids anyway.
