Story about this misheard lyric by: Valerie Cameron I first heard the song on the radio and really struggled trying to make out the phrase at the beginning of each of the first two lines of each verse. I had no luck at first identifying the song from any lyrics site. So I posted a question about it on the amiright messageboards (inthe00s). Another user helped me identify the song, explaining that it was a song of Italian origin, with the phrase 'al di la' left untranslated. That would explain why that phrase can sound obscure in the otherwise English version. |
