Rod Stewart's, "Every Picture Tells A Story"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
On the Peking ferry I was feelin' merry
Why They're Nonsensical:
Um, Rod... Peking (now known as Beijing) is a land-locked city. Try Hong Kong or Shanghai ferry instead.

Rod Stewart's, "Maggie May"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
I could steal my daddy's cue and make living out of playing pool.
Why They're Nonsensical:
If he's good enough to make his living playing pool, wouldn't he have bought his own cue by now?

Rod Stewart's, "Tonight's The Night (Gonna Be Alright)"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
...my virgin child.
Let your inhibitions run wild.
Why They're Nonsensical:

Rod Stewart's, "You're In My Heart (The Final Acclaim)"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
You're a rhapsody, a comedy, a symphony, and a play...
Her ad-lib lines were well rehearsed but by heart cried out for you...
Please pardon the grammar, but you're every schoolboy's dream...
Why They're Nonsensical:
1) A comedy is a kind of play. Not parallel, almost redundant. 2) Having well-rehearsed ad-libs is a bad thing. He sings as though it is good. 3) There is nothing grammatically incorrect to pardon!
