Lady Gaga's, "Bad Romance"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
I want your bad romance.
Why They're Nonsensical:
How can she deem it bad if she wants it?

Lady Gaga's, "Bad Romance"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
I want your horror, I want your design,
'Cause you're a criminal as long as you're mine.
Why They're Nonsensical:
Why would she want horror? And being hers makes one a criminal? Who would fall for THAT come-on line? Many, I think, would run, not walk, in the opposite direction from her!

Lady Gaga's, "Bad Romance"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
I want your psycho, your vertigo stick.
Why They're Nonsensical:
Since when has a Psycho been deemed desirable? I've only ever heard that word before with very negative connotations. And what is a vertigo stick? Do you have a good guess as to what she means by that? Well, so do I. But think about it. That STILL doesn't make any real sense out of the epithet!

Lady Gaga's, "Bad Romance"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
Ra Rah ah-ah-ah
Roma, Roma-ma
GaGa, Oh la la,
Want your bad romance.
Why They're Nonsensical:
Come on, what is it with singers using nonsense, scat words, to fill up lines? They don't really mean anything. And why would any person want something if it's bad??

Lady Gaga's, "Monster"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
He ate my heart and then he ate my brain.
Why They're Nonsensical:
Since this song begins with a spoken line of "Don't call me GaGa", I'll say --- Well, Lady Whatever-I'm-supposed-to-call-you, you ought to know that if either your heart or your brain, let alone both, had been eaten, you wouldn't be singing. As an aunt of mine used to say, You may be crazy, but you're not stupid, Lady What's-it-to-ya.

Lady Gaga's, "So Happy I Could Die"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
I love that lavender blonde.
Why They're Nonsensical:
Lavender is not a natural hair color. But even if one has that hair color by dyeing, it makes no sense to call it blonde. Blond refers to golden hair, and golden is a yellowish color. Lavender, on the other hand is a light shade of purple. And yellow and purple are just about as opposite as two colors can get. Yellow is in the middle of the spectrum of visible light, while purple is a combination of colors at the two ends of that spectrum. Yellow is the color most excluded form any shade of purple.
