Why They're funny:
Boy ole Neil was really stretching for a rhyme that day. I mean, does his chair normally perk up its ears when he declares his existence? It must be comforting for Neil to believe in a sentient race of anthropomorphic chairs, especially when he's struggling with his own existence so. But personally I think it would have been more characteristic and possibly more colorful and authentic if he had just said 'Not even my flares'.....Oh I know it's not nice to poke fun at Neil but he is *such* an easy target!

Apart from 'porcupine pie' being a fairly amusing concept by itself the whole song is just plain daft!
