Charlie Daniels Band's "The Devil Went Down to Georgia"
An oldie by me that was recording rashly the first time around about someone with horrifying luck.
Charlie Daniels Band's "Devil Went Down To Georgia"
Lyrics at: http://www.amiright.com/parody/70s/charliedanielsband4.shtml
Originally recorded in 2006, it was due for an update. The original had no vocal editing, which of course made it a very rough parody of Cher. 11 years later, it finally gets a makeover. All about becoming a vampire. . . but a legendary vampire-you know the ones that can't eat garlic, be in sunlight (at all-no rings, don't turn sparkly), and can't listen to rock music (never understood that one personally--but hey) Fun little ditty. .
Make sure to pack plenty of garlic as these vampires come to wish you a Happy Halloween!!!

Chris De Burgh's "Lady In Red"
I was shocked and saddened to find out that Malcolm Higgins - one of AmIRight.com's most talented parody lyricists had passed away. As a tribute to him, I recorded some of the songs that he wrote. I hope that these songs go to #1 on Soundclick and Malcolm can look down from the heavens and smile.
Christina Aguilera's Super Bowl version's "Star Spangled Banner (U.S. national anthem)"
Did Christina Aguilera say what we think she said when she flubbed the anthem before the Super Bowl? The founding fathers react (all in fun)
Christina Aguilera's "Genie in a Bottle"
A new edit at a classic Jeff Reuben song
Christina Aguilera's "Reflection"
This one doesn't even really attempt to be funny. . .and I was hesitant to add it to my AmIRight collection because of that, but I'm trying to complete the AmIRight page as far as recordings. It's a parody of Reflection--except using the song in the sense as the original for the LGBT movement instead of it's original intent. Given Christina and Disney's personal history with the movement, something tells me they won't mind.
Christina Aguilera's "Genie In A Bottle"

Classic Themes's "The Battle Hyme of the Republic"
I posted a video on youtube of a performance I did of my WOW song earlier this year. I made some revisions to the original song that was submitted here and the audience enjoyed this version. Enjoy, and bear in mind that if you don't know what WOW is, the South Park episode 'Make Love, not Warcraft' captures it much better than I could.

This is a "techy/geek" parody on the poem "Twas the Night Before Christmas", by Clement C. Moore. It does have some background music.
