Real Lyrics -> Bad Grammar in Song Lyrics -> Dean Martin

Song lyrics aren't supposed to be a fountain of perfect english, but on the other hand some are just so atrocious, they need to get called out. We're not looking for sentance fragments or the word ain't since there are too many instances to count.

Dean Martin's, "Let it Snow"
The Lyrics:
When we finally kiss goodnight
How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you really hold me tight,
All the way home I'll be warm.
Why:
'But if you really hold me tight'. . . as opposed to what, pretending to hold me? Should be 'but if you hold me really tight.' Lyricist error, not the singer. Thanks for letting me share this. Raises the hairs on my neck every time I hear it!!
