The Story: Back when the song was done the first time, I thought it was about a prostitute who had been arrested and people were protesting for her release...hence 'free' Lady Marmalade. Now that it has been redone, I finally got it--she's from New Orleans. So, of course, they changed it to Moulin Rouge, which makes it even more confusing. - Submitted by: Class-E
