Song names are sorted by first letter, excluding A and The. This is sorted by song title only, not by song title and performer. So if two different performers preformed the same song, you'll see misheard lyrics for both on the same page (provided the song title was spelt the same both times, and misheard lyrics have been submitted for both!).

I found her diary underneath a tree
The Story: This song came out about the time 'You're So Vain,' with its lyric 'You flew your Learjet up to Nova Scotia to see a partial eclipse of the sun.' I supose private planes were in my mind at the time! - Submitted by: Allen Smalling

The Story: I was singing it that way after hearing it on the radio, and my friend practically cracked up. I didn't even know what a diary was then. My friend was sure I sang it wrong on purpose, and I think she still is today. She showed me the title on her father's cd to prove what the real lyrics were. - Submitted by: Heidi Jones

The Story: For a long time I thought these were the words to this song. That is, until I asked a coworker, 'What the heck is a victoroon?'. Then to my embarassment, I am corrected. - Submitted by: SGFan
