Band Name Origins:

• The band named themselves after their favourite brand of amplifiers, Sunn. The Sunn amplifier logo features the word 'Sunn' folowed by a circle (intended to be a sun) with concentric circles coming off it. So if one was to type out the logo, it would read Sunn O))).
