The cat's in the cupborad but I don't see me. Why They're Nonsensical: This is pretty off-the-wall even for Freberg, although he says during this song, 'It's a traditional lyric.' I've never heard such a thing in any other song, and it's quite nonsensical, given the banter between the singer and the agent: The agent himself mishears a lyric, in fact; where Freberg's singer sings 'Get your ticket,' the agent thinks he sang 'Get your chicken!'
