Strange Offspring Names:
- Henry - Meryl's only son and oldest child. She used to call him "Gippy" when he was a little boy -I hope-... that's pretty cute! [Ed.'s note: Once more (I hope), "Music of the Heart".] Submitted by: TheActress
- Mary-Willa Mamie - I think Mary-Willa is a very originial and pretty name. She's Meryl's oldest daughter. They call her Mamie though, which makes me think of Mamie van Doren... hmm. [Ed. note: Again, "Music of the Heart".] Submitted by: TheActress
- Louisa Jacobson - Meryl's youngest daughter.. Louisa is a nice name I think. Jacobson? Hmm there probably was an important reason for that choice, because this name is pretty rare for a girl. [Ed.'s note: Again, "Music of the Heart".] Submitted by: TheActress
- Grace Jane - I think Grace is pretty. I'm not a big fan of the name Jane, but the combination of the two; Grace Jane, is quite rare and original. [Ed.s note: I'm leaving this on here based on Meryl's role in "Music of the Heart". Submitted by: TheActress
Celebrities Who Sing:
Notable Singing Credits | Comments & Submitter Name |
| "The Winner Takes It All, Mamma Mia!, Money Money Money" | She sings in the movie 'Mamma Mia!", a musical that uses the music of ABBA, but with the movie's actual cast singing the songs. Perhaps no cast member makes the songs sound QUITE as good as the ABBA originals. But Meryl Streep is among the cast members that suprise us with remarkable singing quality for someone we've known previously almost exclusively for acting. Through this movie she has shown herself to be a singer to the point that no longer do any amiright editors need to cite 'Music Of The Heart' to justify her having an artist summary on amiright. 'The Winner Takes It All' is probably her best solo in the movie. It is especially impressive in the context of the video where one sees her singing and the setting. Also impressive is her performance, along with Julie Walters and Christine Baranski, of 'Souper Trouper'. - Ingrid McCannless |
