Song Parody Fragments:
"Gravedigger"
Better Lyrics:
Gravedigger when you dig my grave, could you make it shallow
So that I can feel their shoes
Gravedigger when I see the shovel can you gouge my eyes
So that I won't have to look at the ugly
People coming through the graveyard
So that I can feel their shoes
Gravedigger when I see the shovel can you gouge my eyes
So that I won't have to look at the ugly
People coming through the graveyard
Original Lyrics:
Gravedigger when you dig my grave could you make it shallow
so I can feel the rain
Gravedigger when you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain
so I can feel the rain
Gravedigger when you dig my grave
Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain

Inappropriate Lyrics:
"Gravedigger"
The Inappropriate Lyrics: Ring around the rosies a pocket full of posies ashes to ashes, we all fall down
Why They're Inappropriate: Actually, since this song is about death that lyric is perfect for this song. If you knew the origins of that children's rhyme then you would know that during the middle ages, this song was sung for people that contracted the plague. 'Ring around the rosies' was referring to the roses that were left around the necks of the dead whose smell and infected corpse could harm those that were not diseased. 'A pocket full of posies' were flowers that were placed in the clothes of the dead to help eliminate the stench. 'Ashes to ashes we all fall down' is an obvious reference to the burning of the corpses.
