It's about radio, right? ok. Guglielmo Marconi developed practical radio transmission around the turn of the last century. Fair enough. But what's this 'mamba'? A Mamba is a kind of poisonous snake. Hey, maybe they mean 'Mambo', a form of Cuban dance music of the 1940s and '50s, typically featuring Hammond organ, out-of-tune brass and a lot of shouting. Not very Rock'n'Roll. Not very Edwardian either. So I guess they must mean the snake...
