I was on a roll with this subject, so I thought I'd do one more, maybe a little lighter in tone, since this IS a humor site.
PUTTIN’ UP WITH PITS
(Parody of Puttin’ on the Ritz” by Irving Berlin)
Have you seen the doggie doo
Up and down the avenue
Running loose and not so tame
With their noses smelling game
Big chests and spiky collars
Huge mouths, belong to maulers
Though it is a crime, no one does any time
It’s no fun, but you don’t know where to run to
Just grab a hoe and land some hits
Puttin’ up with pits!
Different breeds defend the mor-ons
Different stripes, still have the gore-on
Glove still fits
Puttin’ up with pits!
Dress them up with bunny ears and flowers
Make them look like they don’t have great power
(and the glower)
Call them mixed, as normal people carry sticks
Or you might wind up in bits
Puttin’ up with pits!
Get them vests and call them dogs of service
Board a plane and everyone gets nervous (want one cur-less)
You will swear it’s simply stupid people there
So stock your home with first aid kits
