This is la vie en hose.

At midpoint, they rest on thighs
The clasps that pop like eyes
And then they squeeze the hose.

When you spread your legs apart
The garters ply their art
So the hose don't down zoom.

The dangling clasps keep stockings high above
Although they won't from peepers cover a thong.
If they hold your hosiery
Then we will never see past knees the hose.
