This didn't quite fully do it for me Dave, the pacing was off and on IMHO and I never really got attracted to or into the narrator's character, which I surrely would have been had it been... hmm... let's say Jessica Rabbit! :-)

This reminded me more of a video game character than a cartoon character. I liked the vagueness of it more than Peter did.

I would have perferred this to have been more about a Tex Avary type character such as Bugs Bunny or Elmer Fudd rather than say Batman, but it was still good, that's why my favorite line was the one about the anvils, because that part was funny and reminded me of those old Looney Tunes. As everybody already said this one wasn't bad, but it didn't really wow me either.

OK, so I disagree with everyone else, what else is new today? I loved it, thought it captured the spirit of caricatureness in its true form. I would have wondered about Jessica Rabbit and don't appreciate Tex Avery, so I'm probably biased. :-) Let the hero die again! We just bring him back cause otherwise we have to think up a new hero with new powers or skills. It's the american way!
