Parody Song Title:

"Star Trek: Past and Present"

Parody Written by:

Peter Andersson a.k.a K1chyd

Star Trek Enterprise, its ongoing mission, to give the fans some new past/future tension. I sure hope that doing it on the blood pressure level is not intentional. ;-)
Star Trek in the 60s
Was a rad show for its time
But the current show producers
Have deprived it of its prime
Belly dancing slave-girls
Brought the crew to Doc McCoy
Now they serve recycled portions
Made of īsparagus and soy

I do mind!
Itīs a prime violation!
Donīt feel fine
When I see it with friends
Over and over again

Who is to blame Trekīs gone bad?
It was once amazing!
Enterprise makes me feel had
So far it ainīt blazing
Out there
Somewhere

Timeline Trojan horses
F*cking up the other shows
I now frown like Klingon foreheads
There are better ways to go
Roddenberrylicious
Thatīs what Yeoman Randy was
Now theyīve messed up the continuum
Flows like Data run in Q-DOS

I do mind!
Draw a line and toss out the preachinī!
Donīt feel fine
When I see it with friends
Over and over again

Brannon Duuh Braga, Amok!
Loose your Vulcan death-pinch
Sevenīs implants was a knock
Now the viewers fast-flinch
Out there
Somewhere

Wake me when itīs over
Tell me itīs restored
Iīll keep on snoring, baby
Iīm so sick of being bored
Whereīs the Federation
Tell me itīll be restored

They are warping in clay
Over and over I say

Character building, my a$$
I miss Captain Jimbo
That man could boink a green lass
Stuck in PC limbo
Again, again, again

DKTOS, Peter, but so many good lines, like:

Roddenberrylicious
Thatīs what Yeoman Randy was
Now theyīve messed up the continuum
Flows like Data run in Q-DOS

Thanx Johnny. The word roddenberrylicious was once posted as a comment to one of my songs (Raspberry Batleth) by someone with the alias Rage. Iīve finally managed to use it in a parody. :-)

Know 1 - looks like we are trading "DKTOS" parodies, but I concur with your sentiments here, of course. I have one other on the same theme, perhaps you have not seen it before and might know the Red Hot Chili Peppers Song, "This Is The Place" that I used for it: http://www.amiright.com/parody/2000s/redhotchilipeppers36.shtml - If not, I still think it's a pretty good read...
