The Lyrics

We've all seen those "Herbal Essences" commercials. You know, the ones where the girls have an "organic experience"? Well based on the fact that I think they're really wrong, here's a song parody.
They didn't mean to deceive you, just lead you
'Cause some have a hard time selling their shampoo
Their better morals they once had
Now thrown straight off the cliff
And if you got the joke
It left the censors pissed
But is it exciting to girls, good-looking
Washing their hair sounds like they're making whoopee

Both getting tired of trying to scrub
And tired of hair that isn't grand
The ad was something good
But turned out bad

And she said, "You have never had one?
Where are you under the sun?
One organic experience
All our writers smoked crack
When they tried to write that
Haven't recovered since"

I think I know too much
And that's so f***ed up
It's awkward trying to watch the tube
Every time it comes on
Great, here comes my mom
She'll think I'm being bad
But told me turn it back
What channel was it on?
But now the ad is gone

I know...just where...I stand...a chick
Trapped inside a man
They take what your willing to give
They need to act just to live
With a walk-on part in a commercial that
Show women showing skin

Clean hair's important
But that's retarded

And know I realize, though that commercial's kind of gay
But know I'm all alone, and the commercials keep me company
Yes, they are pretty dumb; well worth a running from, it's not hard to see
I'm left just feeling scared, but I want to clean my hair
You know their hair must be (hair must be)
It must be dandruff-free
You know that it's dandruff-free
