I have been called the Condiment Queen. And then I met my husband who can't stand anything on his sandwiches, burgers, salads...absolutely nothing. This is dedicated to him and his frustration in getting a plain burger done right the first time.
All I can say is that I want my burger plain
From mayonnaise and catsup I'll abstain
Lettuce will do, I will take a leaf or two
Forget that other goo
They cause me pain, cause me pain
I just want someone to say to me
They'll get it right when I drive through
Ya know I'd like to keep my buns dry today
So promise me you'll have it made my way
And I don't understand why they just can't get it right
And I start to complain they have no brain
And all I can do is have them cook a burger new
But I'm the one to pay, so I shouldn't have to scrape
