Pretty good, bobpie! I LOVED the idea, and I reckon you could have got alot more humour mileage out of the concept. But this is still 5-worthy.
I liked the idea of sending up all those fairytale cliches, bobpie, and I didn't think I knew this OS and then discovered it in my itunes, so I learnt a new song as well - not hilarious, but definitely a good read - 555
Great song, Very Shrek-like
(AGES) Not high on the funny, but well-constructed in how the singer accents "Prin-CESS" in the chorus. With the song's ending, it painted a great picture of the Prince rushing to meet his lady fair.
Hee, hee, hee. Now, really, can you even imagine Prince Charming or Lancelot doing all that thinking? Which, of course, is what makes this funny!---MM

This is a tough round, TCOP, on my second read I like it better than when I saw it in Ages, it's cute in it's own right and for some reason made me think of Shrek. . .that's a good thing by the way :)
I think I heard this in the soundtrack to "The Princess Fives". =) Fun work, though I was kinda hoping this would be about Prince the singer, it was a good parody all the same.
I remember this contest very well as it was the first 10 round contest that I've ever hosted it leaves a special place in my heart, and this round was a lot of fun back then and this song is even fun now. Although I never thought that this was one of REM's best songs...
