The Lyrics

(intro)

Final undress all streakers go !
And we're coming near
Around your homes lock up the doors !
Look at the sight of our breth'ren wow
No time to feel ashamed
For now we have brought some nudity

The streakers becoming clearer
(Oh) No modesty we hide
We've thrown our clothes aside...
Under the full moon light
Showing four streakers pride
Just lose your shame and try !

Oh yeah yeah

You've been naked since the day you were born
You know it's normal man ?
Natural no embarassment right ?
You've seen us once ?, we've done it twice !
Oh feed our obsession now
'Cause now you have caught the sight of your life

The streakers becoming clearer
(Oh) No modesty we hide
We've thrown our clothes aside...
On through the dark 'til light
Showing four streakers pride
Just lose your shame and try !

Oh yeah yeah

(break)

Time
Not taken it's toll on youth
No lines that crack our face
Lotion
Our bodies are new-born smooth
Nutured in every place
Ignorance
Of what we have had to endure
And what you have put others though
Guess
Embarassment for you not sure
Now there's something you should prove

(solo)

Oh gather round no worrying now
And celebrate our dreams
You're in awe of what you saw
This is our life not doing wrong
Hope your judgment's better now
We'll set you right question fun answers yes !

The streakers becoming clearer
(Oh) No modesty we hide
We've thrown our clothes aside...
Into the broad day light
Showing four streakers pride
Just choose a date and try !

This gave me weird images of four guys dancing around naked in the moonlight in some sort of Wiccan ritual, singing out to possible neophytes. Clearly the best one in your streakers album series so far, and very close to SOTM material, if not there already.

What’s up with the space before exclamations marks and question marks though? Or is that just on my screen? And another question: What does ”Nutured” mean, I can’t find that word? Or if it’s a spelling mistake I guess ”natured”, ”nurtured” and/or ”nutted” all go well in that place! Nothing to worry about though, you know what Mark Twain said; ”I don't give a darn for a man that can only spell a word one way.”

Oh, and since most people didn’t discover Metallica until their second breakthrough album in the early 90s, and this is from their first breakthrough album from the early 80s (when they played faster than any other band (including Motorhead) had done before them) which I not only have but it was my favorite for a while, I’ll vouch that pacing is a 5 here.

Thanks Peter. The seperation between the words and the ? ! is just so the punctuation doesn't "blur" with the word it follows ( I'm guessing a WordPad/processor would mark it incorrect typed that way). And the word I was looking for was "Nurtured".

Three fives for four streakers.

I participated in one of those Spencer Tunick mass nude art photos once - 3000 of us posing on the banks and main bridge of Melbourne's Yarra River in return for an amzing commemorative photo - a quite surreal experience that I would not have missed for the world - some of your words reminded me of that bizarre morning, Red Ant - 555

I have no problem with public nudity, unless I have to look at me...5s

Thanks AFW. Thanks Stuart, I've yet to go to any mass undressing such as that. I think I saw the Toronto shoot that guy did on HBO a year or so back. Thanks Rick, and agreed.

Very nice! I'll agree with Pete on the SOTM material. You have over 100 parodies, and at least one should have been nominated, so hopefully this one will. Plus, it would be awesome if a Metallica parody won song of the month.

Thanks Scrawny Johnny. Replied on our thread.

DKTOS, but 555. This one was just too weird and funny for me not to vote on it, especially the lotion part(which I took in a dirty context).

Thanks Step-chan.

I don't know if TOS is anything like Glen Campbell's "The Four Horsemen". In any case, while this is funny it comes nowhere near the Ray Stevens classic. -- MM

(ABC3F) - see above, and yes I vote for more streakers (not blokes though)
Agrimorfee - September 08, 2006 - Report this comment
(ABC3) A strange parody, veering between wacky burlesque and not-very-comprehensible poetry.

Nice one, Nude!

(ABC3-F) What I said above still goes.

Reminds me of the Glory Days at U. of Maryland and the Chestertown (Dorm) streakers. They'd be proud to run to this song!

(ABC-F) After listening to the OS, there could have been a bit more variation in the "time" section, but otherwise this was very good. Great "imagery," heh heh.

(ABC) A little hard to swallow, unless you're one of The Four Horsemen Of The Esophagus ... heh heh heh *cough* ;-)

(ABC3F) Heavy metal streakers? ROCK ON!!! 555
Red Ant - October 08, 2006 - Report this comment
Belated thanks to Max, MM, Stu, Aggie, Matthias, Rick C, Jeff, Cat, Johnny D and Kristof.

Agrimorfee: Looking back, I'd tend to agree with you. I missed some punctuation in a few places that would have made this a bit clearer and more understandable. Either that or so much for writing future word-for-word rhyming parodies.

Cat: I agree there too.

MM: Even if this were recorded it wouldn't be as funny as "The StreaK", but that's more a function of writing a heavy metal parody vs recording an original work.
