I'm feeling productive these days...just two more parodies and I have my own page! This one came to me as I was typing a comment on someone else's parody, and it's basically about how a parody beginner like me feels around the people who are established on here.

I came over to AmIRight
And looked at all your spoofs
Thought I'd try my hand at this
But I was a goof
I saw pros, were they foes?
Had me beat, how could I compete

Reading the kings of punnery
They're rated to the tops
When I try to mimic them
It becomes a flop
So I race, self I brace

Novice in a sea of vets

Will be bypassed, I would bet!

555, very good, don't worry about being new here, I have 73 parodies(which is barely a dent on this site, the authors on the top of the page are above a thousand) and have been submitting to this site for over a year.
yeah i know exactly how you feel dude! i started making parodies a while ago, but only started submitting them about a month ago ( i think ) i only have about 26 or 28, but it's really hard to get noticed, you need to get ONE super good parody that gets people coming back to you... which i havent done, except Red Ant who checks out most of my stuff, but i do mostly modern songs for parodies... ah well it was good and relateable ... 545
Thoughtful and witty. We all have bere theen once, and while I've written over 100 or so parodies, you posess more talent than I did when I was a newbie. Meow!
Very good Cat. Writing comments on others' parodies is not only good for them but for you as well as they sometimes inspire a parody.
Thanks guys! I'm surprised you liked it so much considering I only wrote it in about 10 minutes. I mean, some people take months. But then again, I've already got a couple more ambitious projects brewing in my mind...

(ABC3L) See above, and it's interesting reading one of your earlier works again, especially after "Newbie Paradise." We've all been there, done that, got the "im a noob" t-shirt and "mr 1s loves me" coffee mug! Not bad at all for a 10 minute write; a few of my better ones were written in that timeframe, too (as well as some of my worst! ;))
I'm coming up on 200, just 17 to go. But quality really is more important than quantity, and you're doing quite well there, Cat.----MM
