Parody Song Title:

"In Vegas"

Parody Written by:

An Ed's Poets Society competition entry - Eddie on vacation. Where better than Las Vegas?
Eddie has been sighted buying poker chips galore - having fun
In Las Vegas dealers do not like to see his face - here he comes
Deal the cards and spin that roulette wheel round and round - roll the dice
Eddie's come to let his hair down, get down and indulge every vice

He's taking over the place
A manic grin on his face
Beneath the blazing sun
There's dollars there to be won
In Vegas ... Gambling
In Vegas ... Carousing

Set ablaze the poker tables, check out the full house in his hand
Warning must be given to the dealer he must pass, do not stand
Eddie's on a winning streak so will he push his luck 'til it breaks?
Surely he will lose soon, you know his luck will turn, raise the stakes

He's drinking finest champagne
He's on the attack
He'll take 'em all on again
Got to win it back
In Vegas ... Winning
In Vegas ... He's scoring

Chips piled high as money burns tempers fray and insults abound
Dollies in their mini-skirts and skin-tight tops press close all around
The smell of perfume, mingling with sweat and cheers from the crowd
Eddie knows it's time to cash his chips in, leave the table unbowed

And now it's time to have fun
He'll take on every one
They'll all be going soon
Up to his hotel room
In Vegas ... Wenching
In Vegas ... and whoring

Eddie is the character seen in pretty much all Maiden artwork - EPS is a bunch of Maiden fans on the ironmaiden.org BBS who post verse of varying sorts; and occasionally have a competition.

Congrats on 5000 votes! I'm probably too late to get you there, but now you're one step closer to 10,000 Good parody, too!

I don't think I'll ever be able to take "Invaders" seriously as a battle-song again! :D

Thanks, Melhi and Aly - I reckon this would make quite a fun video: I've got quite a strong mental picture of Eddie taking on the casino..
