Song Parodies -> George Hamilinton I.V.
| Original Song Title: | "Got My Mind Set On You" |
| Original Performer: | George Harrison |
| Parody Song Title: | "George Hamilinton I.V." |
| Parody Written by: | Red Ant |
Out of 38 of George's parodies, I have only been able to rate maybe 4 of them, because they are so incomplete ( in most cases ) that I just can't rate them. Some are hilarious, and at one point I did a parody trying to be the worst ( only on THAT one ), before I saw the Authors List. So a tribute to Big Georgie! PS- I will complete the whole song ( as I found the lyics ), but it is so repetetive you will see lots of ( chorus x ) in here. Also assuming that last name is pronounced with 4 syllables, and IV is 4, not fourth. PS- Not bagging him at all ( the votes and comments speak for themselves ) Maybe it's intentional, who knows?
( chorus 1 )
George Hamilinton IV !
Come on lets see some more !
Oh lets see more of George ! He's
George Hamilinton IV !
( chorus 2 )
But it's gotta be funny,
And sometimes they're very funny,
He's gotten plethoras of one-ies,
Are you alright, George?
It's gotta 'least rhyme,
And don't forget all the lines,
They really need pacing and rhyme,
To do it, not see them, 111, need pacing, to do them,
To do them right!
( chorus 1 )
Now next time, let's "Keep it real*",
The feelings that we feel,
I know if you put your mind to it,
I think that maybe you can do it.
( chorus 1 )

DKTOS so no vote, but bloody hell, RA, praising George Hamilton IV??? what's with that? his parodies are bloody awful
Hey, if you can't be the best of the best then.......
His name is George Hamilinton IV, not george Hamilton. Look at the surname carefully.
Thanks for the correction Blue Ant ( PS to ALL- Blue Ant is NOT me ).
i need ur help. how do i get a bio? ive got over 25 parodies on the site???
DAK, send an e-mail to ChuckyG, the webmaster, and send in a nice little bio thing (a couple paragraphs will suffice). There's links to his e-mail all around the site. Explain about your parody contributions, and nicely ask that you get a bio space. He should comply within a week or so. Gimmee the dadaist musings of Tokusu Sendai Blessranger. I haven't read GA IV's complete works yet, but I will say this--There's "outsider art", and then there is just plain talentlessness. :)
I have. It didn't take that long to scan 38 mostly incomplete parodies ( and maybe only 7 people have left their actual names there in comments out of the lot ). I do have to honor a guy who has a parody with 11 PERFECT 111's ( which AFAIK is the worst rated parody here out of nearly 32000 ) and has atleast 6 parodies with over 10 votes ( most are 111's ).
What a maroon! 555!
DAK Just make sure your bio is not some inflated, egotistical romp like Willie Tong's.
Bugs Bunny, thanks. upchuck, just saw that bio. While I have seen longer, that one is just a weeeeeee bit egotistical.
Just voted this 551. Will not be hypocritical, because basically it is a "constructive "slam on GH IV ( but a slam nonetheless ). I also voted another parody today a 551 for the same basic type of thing.
444 Pretty funny, but hard to follow some lines... But overall good
Thanks Dominic L.
That was men. I know why you did it too cuz my name rhymes with George Harrison so you thought of me so there for you think of men which means you want me.
to G.H.I.V: You're wrong. It does NOT rhyme with Harrison. Garrison rhymes with Harrison, Mr. Ignorant.
Well, assuming I'm responding to the real GHIV (with two "n" in Hamilinton) I must say your analysis of me is way way off, just like your pacing was, which along with the fact that your parodies were incomplete is why they got deleted. I figured by making a parody that was your name would more than likely grab your attention and perhaps you would read, comprehend and improve your work ( I really did want you to improve ). I was mistaken. The fact that it only took you 4+ MONTHS to find this (if infact you are "you") is baffling. Sorry George, but your parodies DID need pacing, rhyme and completeness which were pointed out countless times.
To "That's Not True": Quite correct on the rhyme, though if GHIV could have come *somewhat* close his parodies might have been better.

Yes I know. I didn't notice, however, that he spelled his own name incorrectly. As for his comment above, "That was men", I don't know what that's supposed to mean, since it's gramatically incorrect. It would make more sense to say "That was a man" or "Those were men"... :-\\
I thnk he meant to type "That was mean".
Still, a spellchecker wouldn't've caught that, since "men" is the correct spelling of some word in the English language. Which goes to show, you can't always count on spellcheckers.
