great smoosh...hard to imagine two songs farther apart in tone
It would be a bit funnier if you had some more
information. Remember: Just because the OS repeated itself a lot doesn't mean a parody of it has to do the same.
Thanks, Alvin. Perhaps "Spell" with "You Light Up My Life"? Or perhaps the collected works of Leo Sayer? (Don't get any ideas. I can't stand either one.) Jonathan, after over 1200 parodies, I think I'm a pretty good judge of what's funny, not to mention proper pacing, which helps the song a lot, including in this case. But I did goof one oft-repeated line: "You that my patience you're tryin'" should've been "You know it's my patience you're tryin'."
