The Lyrics

Anyone for a Medieval-type riddle song...? ;-)
The ____?

Merry & Pippin

Some say 'it' in cold is stiffer
Surrounds the tender seed
Some say 'it's' good for a grazer
That laves to grow its feed
Some say 'it' - if now you wonder
Continue this to read
I say 'it' - avoid the mower
Or new one you will need

If the yard you live for raking
Are over-fond of plants
Have one strewn around the garden
Green plastic elegance
If your lawn in summer's baking
And doesn't seem to thrive
And the moles aren't multiplying
But go elsewhere to live

When the garden's getting bony
And it's fried all summer long
And the lawn has gone all stony
Fear it's demise won't be long
Try this curled-up, phallic winner
For abundantly it flows
H2o - you're supplied enough
From this thing that's called the......

....hose

You hosers! You had me going! Of course, not like you have Malcolm going! Speaking of whom, you ARE half as good as Merry & Pippin. And I'm 90 percent as good as they are.

Okay, you got me. I"m sure I read this and forgot. It's the excuse George Harrison used for "My Sweet Lord". He wound up paying. I'll give M&P 50 percent of the profits I make from my "Hose" (Or they can take it out in trade.)

Cool...Gertrude Stein by way of Freud (nudge nudge)--"Sometimes a rose is not a rose"??? :P555
