Scathe's contest got my juices flowing, which is good since I was in a bit of a mental drought this week. Although, strangely enough, I picked this song since it's the most parodiable (if that's even a word) of all the songs I hate...most of them have lyrics that are SO bad that you just can't spoof 'em!

have to agree with the sentiment...this might be screwed up to say but i liked aerosmith a lot better when they were ripped out of their minds

555. I'm an Aerosmith fan, but I can see how this song would get annoying after being play to the nth degree. There are too many other bands with certain songs that get too much exposure as well.
Any hit can be overdone, and most are lol... DKTOS, but Fives for the sentiment well said.

Oh I see how it is. Someone bashes an aerosmith song and they get praised. I rip on Vanessa Carlton and I get a can of (figuatively speaking) whoopie on me. Great parody though.

(Bad Song Contest) Let me guess - you made this from a lyrics sheet alone. Heh heh. There's a bit more to the song than what you have listed, including two more "Janie's got a gun.." 'verses' and another 'run away, run away from the pain', and more to the outro. 454. Still, good satire of an extremely overplayed song.

Well done, although I have to admit that I like the song. I guess it's been long enough that they don't play it too much anymore. I do like how you made the song self-depricating.
