| Parody Song Title: | "Hide Like A Weasel" |
| Parody Written by: | Red Ant |
DKTOS? Song here. This parody is based on the saying "Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines".
[intro of high pitch wind noises - airplane engines!]
[guitar]
Flap, flap do do do *slurp* *splat*!
Flap, flap do do do *slurp* *splat*!
Birds keep on slippin' (slippin' slippin')
Into jet engines...
Birds keep on slippin' (slippin' slippin')
Into jet engines...
You want to fly like an eagle?
Well not me!
Hide like a weasel!
I'm not a turning turbine treat!
I will be sly like the weasel
I won't see
Powered fan blade revolutions!
And I'm lazy
There's no goals I have to meet
So I'm chillin'
A master of re-'treat'
I'm not dyin'
(at) 20,000 feet
Oh yeah I've the solution!
Still want to fly like an eagle?
Over seas?
Pi-lots hate eagles
When their engines friggin' seize!
I will just writhe with the weasels
They're lice-free!
Flying is overrated!
Birds keep on slippin' (slippin' slippin')
Into jet engines...
Birds keep on slippin' (slippin' slippin')
Into jet engines...
do doo ....
Who wants to fly like an eagle?
Well not me
Sly like a weasel
Under radar's where I'll be!
So there's no pride in a weasel?
Let me see
Right, who's the endangered species?!
Birds keep on slippin' (slippin' slippin')
Into jet engines...
Birds keep on slippin' (slippin' slippin')
Into jet engines...

He he....unusual take. I liked "Who's the endangered species?" 5's
5's. nothing to get into a flap about here.
5s, I agree.
unique concept..i like it
Thought this would be about the ones guy; funny stuff tho
You have an eagle eye for inane OSs, and quite the beak to puncture them. No turkey here, Fives goes the weasel.
What Claude sez
Unique and humorous...
A great idea with lots of great lines. Especially liked the "endangered species" verse. 555
Great and unique parody!
YOU'RE MARRIED?!?!WOW!!!!555
This wasn't about Georgie Bush during Hurricane Katrina? Oh well. Fortunately, not all men are created weasel.
Hilarious stuff
Thanks pat, Carol, Step-chan, Alvin, Claude, TT, PMS, AFW, Rick C, Cherry, CB, Michael, and Larry. Colossal Butt: Yes, I am.
Ever wondered about that Airport Pizza nr 555: Jet engine bologna? Don't!
excellent Red - and may I return the pacing compliments - this is absolutely pin-perfect - and delightful syllable-matching as a bonus - 555
Thanks Peter and Stu. Jet engine bologna? Sounds like a good "On Top Of Old Smokey" parody in the making there.
Too freakin' funny, Antmeister!
Missed this one when you posted it, Red...April 18th was the day AFTER Tax Season ended this year...I worked something like 22 of the last 24 days, culminated by a 10 am to 9pm final day...and then a 3 hour party afterwards...so I'm pretty sure I was asleep most or all of the 18th (and 19th and part of the 20th)...actually, we "worked" the next day...at least we all showed up...Nice job here, 5's ~ ~ ~
Thanks Johnny D and Paul.
(ABC3) You weasel, Red! An off-the-beaten-path 555.
(ABC) See above!
This is definitely an original idea, and well-written.--MM
Being that today is my birthday (I am 63 today!), I figured I would check out a parody of one of my songs. I happen to like parodies of my music (especially when they're good), and this is a wonderfully written spoof! You get a perfect vote from me.
(ABC3-H) see above - very smooth, Jack!
(ABC3H) Very original idea, Jack...brilliantly executed (much like the birds!) 555
I don't know.... It's either sucked into jet engines, or being stomped by Weird Al, not really a safe spot between either of these animals is there? 5's
(ABC-H) The sound effects at the beginning were an interesting touch. Funny stuff.
Unusual, had me thrown at the beginning, but I liked it. Creative.
Thanks Agrimorfee, Johnny D, MM, Steve (Happy Birthday), Stu, Kristof, Matthias, Scathe and Jeff.
Well...it was nice to see the original artist comment on a parody of his song; you don't see that too often. It's also nice that he gave positive feedback. I like this one too.
