The Lyrics

The ever-clashing runners,
You can see one fading fast.
So he grabs a place like Licking,
And he just hopes to get past.
He couldn't tell if Lima,
Would be held fast in his hand.
It don't look like they trust us,
A recount we have planned.

He's not stealing four more years,
Show in this state's behind.
And Dan Rather is all in tears,
'Cause I watched him moan and whine.

He's been yelling that Dick's a penis,
Mary likes Charlene cuisine.
Ohio will disown you,
Now get off my TV screen.
You weakened at the college,
Some turnout for you canned.
Now just quit with all this stallage,
Go home to Mass-a-land.

He's not stealing four more years,
Show in this state's behind.
And Dan Rather is all in tears,
'Cause I watched him moan and whine.

You spent a lot of money,
But you still lost your behind.
They're trippin' out in Hollywood,
There's Ketchup down on Vine.
All those states that swing your vote machine,
Didn't get the votes you planned.
The people spoke, you're toothless,
Go home to Mass-a-land.

He's not stealing four more years,
Show in this state's behind.
And Dan Rather is all in tears,
'Cause I watched him moan and whine.

You got the titles reversed. The original is "Reeling In The Years" and the parody title is "He's Not Stealing Four More Years". Nice job on the parody's content, though.

Good parody, Guy, but the thief was Dumbya in 2000.

Thanks everyone - I'm just glad this whole thing is over. Looking forward to TV news now with just the usual scarry terroristic and war stories and the like. You know, just nice TV. I think we all can use the break. I think being able to write parody about the whole thing kept most of us sane. It is great to have the freedom to write without fear of repercussion. So when you have a bad taste with the issues you always have amiright to vent them out and get a laugh. Keep on writing it's all good.
