| Original Performer: | Kris Kristofferson |
| Parody Song Title: | "Ralph, Let's Shake It Through the Night" |
| Parody Written by: | Michael Pacholek |
If you've ever seen "The Honeymooners," you might have seen portly bus driver Ralph Kramden (Jackie Gleason) and beanpole sewer worker Ed Norton (Art Carney) dance. So here's another "Lost Episode" I've found, where Norton brings his record player down to Ralphie Boy's apartment, and... hilarity ensues...
Take the bus cap off your hair.
Shake it loose, until we fall.
You got lots of chubby skin.
Casts huge shadow on the wall.
This is nineteen fifty-five.
Big Band stuff we like ain't right.
Get in step now with the time.
Ralph, let's shake it through the night!
I got me Bill Haley's song.
Got Chuck Berry, he's the man.
Let's boogie out to Fats Dom-i-no.
This Elvis guy, he'll be our friend.
Yesterday is dead and gone.
Tomorrow will be outa-sight.
Gotta get into that zone.
Ralph, let's shake it through the night!
Alice might just think it's wrong.
Trixie just won't understand.
Let them yell at us tomorrow.
'Cause tonight, we shake our ends!
Yesterday is dead and gone.
Tomorrow will be outa-sight.
Gotta get into that zone.
Ralph, let's shake it through the night!

i can picture this...funny concept
outstanding 5's
I haven't seen much of 'The Honeymooners', but I've know enough to know this a very funny parody. All. 5's
Hallucinatory concept, for which I'm seeing 5s.
The Honeymooners was one of my favorites and that's a good tribute. "We sing the song of the sewer..."
Although I've never seen a single Honeymooners episode (they never really made it out of America, I guess)..I know of their legacy...and enjoyed this immensely. 555
