The Lyrics

Take my carry-on from me
Shake it up and watch stuff fall
Oops--I forgot that nailclipper
I'm so ashamed that I could crawl

Come and give me the shakedown
Hold me up against the light
But--please, my plane's about to leave
Help me make it to my flight

I do care what's right and wrong
I'm a proud American
Just don't treat me like a criminal
Like you treated that old man

Is courtesy dead and gone?
I don't have a thing to hide
I can hear the engine drone
Help me make it to my flight

I heard that big jet engine drone
Help me make it to my flight

Surprisingly enough, I got through two sets of plane checks yesterday and the day before... carrying a set of nail-clippers! Oh, no! I'll never feel safe in the air again ;-)
